Ishita Black

Ishita qualified as a dentist from Bristol University in 2002 and has since developed a focus on dento-facial aesthetics.

She has worked in general practice gaining invaluable experience working in the NHS, in hospital as an SHO in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department treating patients with head and neck cancer and broadening her surgical skills. She has also worked in the Community Dental Service helping patients with complex medical and behavioural needs.

She has successfully passed her post graduate examinations to become a member of The Faculty of General Dental Practitioners MFGDP(UK) in 2004 and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Edinburgh MFDS RCS (Edin) in 2005.

She has been looking after patients in Hertfordshire for the last 20 years carrying out general dentistry, Invisalign treatment to align teeth and advanced restorative treatments for her patients.

Over the last decade Ishita has done extensive training in facial aesthetics. With her unique combined skillset in smile design and facial sculpting, Ishita uses a multi modal approach with soft tissue injectables, bio stimulating treatments for skin rejuvenation, orthodontics and minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry.

Ishita is very passionate about delivering natural looking results, striving to bring about a sense of self-confidence and wellbeing in her patients. An advanced knowledge of facial anatomy in a clinical dental setting ensures Ishita can provide the highest standards of treatment to her patients.

Ishita enjoys treating patients of all ages and her warm, calm and friendly nature ensures her patients are always well looked after.

Away from dentistry, Ishita can be found pitch side with her husband Gordon and their three sons Rowan, Aran and Noah who all love sport. She is a keen runner, enjoys Pilates, yoga, swimming and climbing mountains.
